So, here I am 25 weeks pregnant and definitely showing! The bigger my belly gets, the more people want to touch it! I have always been a little curious as to why people want to touch my belly, even strangers. Today, a sweet lady at my office walked up to me and said, “May I?” I said, “Please!” It was like speaking in code – she put her hands on my belly and much to her wonderment, Claire did a big flip! I love when God does stuff like that…..
He can take the smallest moment, the smallest person and do a huge miracle. All we have to do is get out of His way. I know that some of us are bothered by people touching our bellies, but after today, I will rejoice any time someone asks. It was a huge blessing to my life to watch the Lord use my tiny unborn daughter to brighten someone’s day. What a sweet gift and all I had to do was say, “Sure, touch my belly!” Then I got to watch God work. What if I did this all the time? Just what if God asked, “May I…..” and I just said, “please Lord”. Wow! What wonderful things could happen. Today, simply say “please Lord” and watch Him work. It may not be the exact moment you want it but it will happen. Just get out of the way and let God bless you! It is a wonderfully humbling experience……
