masks

Wednesday night was the Fall Festival at church. Everyone was dressed up and looked fabulous! I thought about how much fun it is for one night to dress any way we choose...we can be anything we want to be. We can choose from a thousand different costumes and masks and pretend we are someone else. Then I wondered, how many of us wear masks every day? How many of us live Halloween every day? We wake up and leave our homes and pretend to be someone different than who we really are. We do this for many reasons I suppose... But isn't that a sad was to live? If any of you are like me, you understand. But today I want to challenge you along with myself to only wear masks one day a year. Enjoy the Halloween celebration, but leave it at the party. Don't take it with you every day. Join me in taking off the masks that we have become so comfortable wearing. Be who God created you to be this moment. Live mask free basking in the beauty of who you truly are. You are cherished, you are loved, you are chosen above all creation as His choice possession.
Heres to being mask free....
