in my way

So, on Wednesday I got to work ready to hit the ground running. I mean I was ready to go. I had one million cases on my desk ready to work up. So, I stopped and got a big dr.pepper, had my iPod all charged and I was set. Turned on the computer….and nothing. WHAT? I know. It just stared at me as if I knew what to do with a FACS system that wouldn’t work. Hmmm….ok. The system was down until about 3:45 that afternoon. While I got some minor things done, I felt like my entire day was wasted.

Do you ever feel like that in your spiritual life? You are SET. You are ready to take on a challenge for Jesus. You have on The Full Armor of God….step out into the open and BAM. Something gets in your way. Something tries to stop you from doing the work you were called to do. Could be anything, and usually is the one something you would never expect. When you are ready to fight for God’s Kingdom, the evil one will do anything in his power to stop you. He simply crashes the system around you. What do you do? FIGHT sister! Fight with all you have. God could call you to fight by being still and getting out of His way (Exodus 14:14) or He could call you to throw on that helmet of salvation, grab your sword of truth and your shield of faith and stand in the gap….fighting the evil one with All God’s power through you. Are you ready to fight today?
