all hours

In the wee hours of the morning, around 3am, I went looking for a dr.pepper. Probably my 15th of the day! As I was walking around the hospital I noticed that there is not a lot of sleep going on here. Rooms are filled with people taking care of people, people watching TV, reading, attempting to find rest in chairs that offer little comfort...in the hospital there is always someone awake that you can call for help. While it is not fun being here, there is great comfort knowing that if your child sounds the slightest bit 'off' all I have to do is push the red button and a trained professional is here in a flash.

Much like our Great God. He is always on hand. He never sleeps. He is always ready to hear even our smallest cry. I am learning by being here that our God is available just like the nurses here. Now, He is asking me to trust Him and call on Him as I do the staff here. I don't even have to push the magic button for His help...for He is closer than a whisper...He knows our needs before we ask...He is our Creator and Healer...
