Last night we were all playing in the living room and Lil asked for a gummy bear. I gave her one and before she even had it in her mouth she said, "I want two gummy bears..." I was thinking how she should have been content with one gummy and the Lord said, "Meagan are you content with one __________" (you fill in the blank)
Wow. Again Miss Lily has taught me a huge lesson. Everyday I am blessed with gift after gift. Thank you Lord for my beautiful home, my wonderful husband, my gorgeous daughters and my job BUT I still need ____________. I am just like my two year old. I haven't even fully comprehended the greatness of my current blessings and I am already asking for more more more. More everything. I am glad that the Lord's patience with me is greater than I can imagine. Today I will take a step, even if it is a baby step, and be content with what I have. For I have all my needs met according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus - - - can I really ask for more than that?
